TRIATHALON 101

OPEN TO EVERYONE!  We want dreamers who've never made it off the couch.  We

want Olympic distance age group winners. We want people who've signed up for their

first triathlon but have a ton of questions about what that day will actually look like.

We'll cover some history of the sport, basic equipment needs (and easy ways to

meet those), realistic training and diet plans, a schedule of local triathlons that are

friendly to beginners, and access to local training groups. Experts, we'd love you as

mentors.  Dreamers, beginners, and the curious - feel free to just drop in and learn

more.  Just know this. If you are so inspired, and decide to sign up for a triathlon, you

 don't need to do it alone - you'll have a Bethany Arts College triathlete on race day to

watch, support, or even do the race with you. Come learn more - you're welcome to 

say "I'm not interested," but don't ever say, "I can't."  I promise we'll prove you wrong.
